Wheatus

Touring the USA
Up and down the East Coast this May

For the first time in nearly 2 years, Wheatus will head out on a brief tour of America. Heading up and down the east coast for a total of ten shows, these will be the first of many upcoming tour dates for the band. Click here to see the current schedule (subject to change, naturally). However, future US touring will be at least partially determined by the success of these shows, so we desperately need all of our friends and fans on the east coast to find the date nearest to them, grab a handful of skeptical but open-minded friends and co-workers, and COME TO THE SHOW. We promise we'll do everything we possibly can to make it worth your time and money.

We're gonna have new merchandise, be playing some new instruments, and have a whole bunch of new songs in our set that you've definitely never seen us play live before. We're also working out the details of a pre-tour contest/competition/promotion/thing for people coming to see us that we'll announce in a little while.

East coast fans! We really need you guys with us for this! See you all on the road or at your local Cracker Barrel location.

Much love,
wheatus

PS: If you don't live in this part of the world, please temporarily contain your chagrin, as we are announcing a lot of additional touring plans in the near future. Thank you!

Hand Over Your Loved Ones
& TooSoonMonsoon

Full albums from the Wheatus back catalog
Now available as pay what you like downloads

Our donation system for the Lightning EP has been such a success, we've decided to expand our donation system to include our two previous releases.

Hand Over Your Loved Ones is now better known as Suck Fony, the name of it's 2005 re-issue, but now you can download the follow-up to our self-titled debut complete with its original artwork and tracklisting. It's the best way we could think of to present the album to you as it was originally intended.

Also now available is our 3rd full-length release, TooSoonMonsoon. Our first album as a fully independent band, the entire album was written, recorded, and mixed by Brendan in our home studio.

Both of these albums are available on our Past Releases page and can be downloaded with the same pay what you want system we used for The Lightning EP. If you donate $5 or more, there are bonus tracks you can receive, and if you donate $10 or more, we will mail you a physical copy of the album* as our thank you.

Thanks so much for all the support you've given us this past year. Your donations truly play a huge part in helping keep this band alive, and your generosity will allow us to continue to release music to you this way in the future.

Much love,
wheatus

*Please note that unfortunately we don't have physical copies of Hand Over Your Loved Ones to sell, so if you donate $10 or more for that download, we will mail you a copy of Suck Fony, the re-issue that contains 2 additional tracks, instead.

Pop, Songs & Death: Vol. 1
The Lightning EP

Pay what you like for your download
Now available exclusively here at wheatus.com

After oh so much work, we are proud to present you with Volume 1 of Pop, Songs & Death, a series of EPs that we plan on releasing several of in the coming months and years. This one is called The Lightning EP.

These six songs were all recorded live in our home recording studio using Sonoma DSD, the highest quality audio available. There are almost no overdubs. It was made without any outside engineers or producers. Just us.

We decided to offer the download for free, so the curious can easily check it out and spread the word. If you'd like to support us, you can make a small donation and you'll be rewarded with some bonus tracks. If you'd like to support us even more, we'll send you a CD, DVD, and some comic books as a token of our appreciation. Whether you help by making a donation or by telling your friends to come download, we thank you. So much.

Hope you enjoy the music, and we should have Volume 2 for you this winter. Six more songs... they've already begun...

Much love,
wheatus
